Fifth Gear Garms is a small independent business. Every item ordered is handmade and dispatched entirely in house to meet your personal preference.

We kindly request customers do not order multiples of the same item to try on for size or to compare colours, as returned items will be sent to waste.

 Fifth Gear Garms reserves the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements.


Returns

1. Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving goods.

Your item(s) must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging and with the attached receipt or proof of purchase.

  • To make a return for an unwanted item, please email Fifth Gear Garms at contact@fifthgeargarms.com using the subject "Returns Request - Order #----".
  • In your email, please provide us with your order number, items you wish to return and a reason for your return (i.e too large)

You will then receive an email within the next 24 hours with full instructions on how to return your item back to us.

* The customer is responsible for the return delivery costs. This cost will not be accounted for in the refund. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and you are advised to arrange your own insurance. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

 3. As soon as we receive and approve the return, a refund will be initiated to your credit card or original payment method. Please note, the refund does not include the original shipping costs.

* A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary or if the goods are not in the same condition as sent and in its original packaging.


    Exchanges

    Exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving goods.

    Your item(s) must be unworn and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging and with the attached receipt or proof of purchase.

    1. To make an exchange for an unwanted item, please email Fifth Gear Garms at contact@fifthgeargarms.com using the subject "Exchange Request - Order #----".

    In your email, please provide us with your order number, items you wish to return and a reason for your return (i.e too large). Please also inform us of the items you wish to exchange to (i.e Singapore Noodle T-shirt, Large, Black)

    You will then receive an email within the next 24 hours with full instructions on how to return your item back to us.

    * The customer is responsible for the return delivery costs. This cost will not be accounted for in the refund. (We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and you are advised to arrange your own insurance. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.)

    3. Once we've received your exchange, you will receive an invoice for the cost of re-delivery for the new item(s). This may also include the additional cost of items that exceed the original order value exchanged. If the value of your new item(s) are less the original order value, the difference will be refunded within 14 days to your chosen payment method.

    Cancellations

    We ask customers to amend or cancel incorrectly ordered items within 24 hours of purchase to reduce unwanted items being handmade and dispatched incorrectly. 

    After this period, your order will be processed and manufactured with the details you have provided at checkout. 

    To modify or cancel your order, we kindly request a cancellation by either starting a web chat with us or sending an email to contact@fifthgeargarms.com.

    If you wish to cancel your order, refunds will be processed and returned to your chosen payment method within 3-5 days.


      Pre-Orders

      Pre-release orders (“Pre-orders”) are orders for products (“Products”) that are not yet available for general sale from Fifth Gear Garms. Pre-ordered item will not be made and dispatched under our standard 3-5 business day turnaround.

      Customers are to check the description of the product for the estimated dispatch time frame. This time frame is only an estimate and could be subject to change. You will be notified by Fifth Gear Garms of any changes if applicable.

      “Full payment” is required at checkout. Checkouts with in 'in-stock general sale' item(s) that include pre-ordered item(s) will be dispatched together, once your pre-ordered item comes into stock. If you require your in-stock item sooner, we advise you purchase these in separate transactions.

      The cancellation policy still applies to pre-ordered items. We ask customers to amend or cancel incorrectly ordered items within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, your order will be processed with the details you have provided at checkout.

       

      International Customers

      If you wish to get in contact with your in-country delivery partner to arrange a collection or redelivery, please see here: Royal Mail International Delivery Partners. You can also check for current updates on the status of parcel by entering your tracking reference number here: https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item

      If an order is returned due to either an unsuccessful delivery, an incorrect address, failure to collect the parcel from your local postal office after a delivery notification, or rejection of the item at customs, it will get sent back to Fifth Gear Garms after a period of time.

      If your item is returned to Fifth Gear Garms, please email contact@fifthgeargarms.com letting us know which option you would like to take:

      1. Request Re-delivery: If you still wish to receive your order, you can request a re-delivery. If you request a re-delivery, please provide us with your correct shipping address. Please be aware that a re-delivery fee will apply and will need to be paid before the order is dispatched.

      2. Request a Refund: If you prefer, you can request a refund. Please be aware that this refund will exclude the original shipping cost and/or the cost of import taxes.

      * Re-delivery or a refund can only be issued once the parcel has been returned to Fifth Gear Garms.

       

      Faulty Item Returns

      If your order arrives damaged you may wish to have a replacement sent out or get a refund on your order. To do this, please follow the simple steps below. Faulty items must be reported within 5 days of the item being received by the customer. Please note, however, any faults reported after 5 days of receiving the item, will be deemed as general wear and tear. 

      Fifth Gear Garms reserves the right to refuse any refunds or replacements for fault items that does not meet our requirements.

      1. Take a picture of the product fault on item(s). Ensure the picture quality and lighting is sufficient and the fault is clearly shown.

      2. Email us at contact@fifthgeargarms.com, attaching the images and a brief description of the item fault. Please ensure you give us your full name and order number alongside this.

      3. If your request for a refund or replacement is approved, you will receive a confirmation email of this refund approval or a notification of your replacement along with tracking information.

      4. If you receive your refund approval confirmation, your refund will appear within 3-5 days in your billing account.
